    G.weike wk1325

    Hey guys...

I have combed the forums and the net for any reviews on g.weike wk1325 and nothin anyone know if these are just a rebrand... They have excellent reviews for their lasers but nothing for the routers...

I am in the final stages of purchasing a laser from these guys and to add a router from them will be alot cheaper than grabbing a jinan quick cut ( although the reviews on here are really making me think its worth it ) and separate the shipping etc...

    Any ideas, info or thoughts

    Thanks guys

    Just purchased a used WK1325

Ok, guys here's what I know and have learned about components on the one i have.

Note, this one was converted to use Mach3 and uses a controller card from Machmotion.com

    My machine components.

    1. Controller (Break out Board). Machmotion I06 v3
    http://www.machmotion.com/manuals/IO...ard%20V3.0.pdf

    2. Drivers: Leadshine MD2278 Microstepping Driver (4 of them in cabinet)
    http://leadshine.com/UploadFile/Down/MD2278d.pdf

    3. stepper motors: (this is not exact..can't find this exact model). Chinese WANTAI MOTOR model: 86BYGH450-B-40-43.
    86BYGH450 series hybrid stepping motor

    4. 3Kw spindle 220v 9.5A 24,000 RPM 0523-84506065

    5. VFD Taizhou Fuling Electromotor co. (from side panel) input: 3PH 220v
    Output: 3Ph 0-220 V
    Power: 3.7KW 15.0A
    DZB200B003.7L2A

Now, I finally got the machine moving with help from Machmotion but don't have three phase power for the spindle.

If you guys know anything about that VFD or spindle, is there any way for either to work on 240 volt one phase power or would I have to get a whole new setup (spindle + VFD?).

Let me know if you have any other questions or want pictures.

Also, this thing is built like a tank...all steel and 2200 pounds solid.
Rack and pinion on all axis with lubrication system.

The computer that came with it was fried, even the HD, so I had to set it up from scratch.

Need to find out how to set the switches, and motor tuning for those motors and gears on the system.

    Any ideas, let me know.

You should be able to power the spindle off 220V single phase but if the VFD only accepts 3ph then it would have to be replaced.

The spindle should work with the correct VFD though, you should be able to get one on ebay from one of the guys selling chinese spidnles, e.g. linearmotionbearings2008 (I think).

Only info I could find was for a three phase spindle that looked similar but required what I thought they said was 380 volts.
