Newbie Help - Lubrication for NSK linear bearings

    Hello,
I just bought an old, but nice cnc machine that has NSK linear bearings.

I soaked one bearing in paint thinner to remove all of the old grease.
I then sprayed it with garage door dry lubricant (from what I read here).

The clean bearing is MUCH more difficult to move than a "dirty" one I haven't cleaned yet.

I plan to use the machine for woodworking and didn't want it to attract too much sawdust although the guides are pretty well sealed from the outside.

What kind of lubricant should I use? Regular grease?

    Thanks for your help,
    Matt

I believe klubber is what nsk recommends. Nbu15 was common, but it is expensive. You could probably get away with white lithium grease.
