    clausing colchester lathe help

I bought a clausing colchester lathe that has a 220-250v/ 380-440v 50 hertz 7.5hp motor on it. Can anyone tell me if I can run the motor on 60 hertz without burning it up?

Every machine I see that is 50 hz runs fine on 60 hz. We run colchesters on 60 hz at work no problem.

There is less of an issue going from 50 to 60hz than the reverse.
