    Haas EC-500 Pallet allignment

Our shop just got in a used EC-500 Horizontal mill a few months ago. We are pretty undermanned right now and so I have had trouble finding time to get started on this machine, as I have had to make a tombstone for it. So yesterday I fire up the machine and start to mount up the tombstone and as I am trying to indicate it in I notice that the Pallets are both WAY out of alignment. So much that I cant even get the tombstone indicated in.

The Pallet has a 1 Degree indexer... But 1 degree moves far more than I need it to in order to indicate the tombstone in. Any way, is there a procedure for adjusting the pallets home point?

    THScout,
Did you get your problem solved? I cannot help. Was just browsing the Haas forum for Haas horizontal info. I am considering an EC 630 or something comparable. We only have vertical experiance but are looking at product that I think will be suited to a horizontal. Just looking for general info.
