    Doosan Puma Programming

    Hi guys, i currently run a Doosan Puma CNC lathe with Fanuc controller.

    I can program with fanuc that isn't a problem, i want to know if i can get away with using the old school canned cycles instead of this G1148 (dunno if this is a code) bull****. I'm used to the g71, G72, G70 ect codes.


    Any help pls would be appreciated!

    You should still be able to use the old cycles as well as the manual guide i cycles, but do try to persevere with the new format, once the logic behind them becomes apparent you will like them, and maybe, someday, even learn to love them.....(group)
