Just the donut; not the hole.

As part of a project I'm trying to pocket out what is essentially a ring. But I can't seem to figure out what the correct process is to have it exclude the middle section. I've tried to distill the issue down and the following is the root of what I'm trying:

In CamBam create a circle. Next create a smaller circle inside the original one (creating the aforementioned donut). Then pocket out just the donut part.

That last part is what I can't figure out. I assumed Edit --> Subtract would be what I need, but either it or I isn't working right. If the two shapes intersect then Subtract seems to work as expected, but since these two don't overlap, I'm at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Something like this

It is really simple. Just draw a circle and put another circle inside. Select both circles and click on the pocket MOP. Done.

And the CAMBAM forum is really helpful.
