Hello everyone,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I'm in need of help figuring out what some error codes mean

I've looked at the operation and programming manual (http://support.automation.siemens.co...edownload=true) but it isn't exactly enlightening. What it says is that alarm 8, 13 and 1080 only happen on commissioning, alarm 3 needs a service technician and alarm 2000 is the only one with meaningful information:

Reason:
The EMERGENCY STOP signal is output from the PLC to the NC
Effect:
Inhibiting of NC START
– Operation is brought to a defined stop
– Servo enable is removed
– Follow up operation
Remedy:
Check to see if the EMERGENCY STOP cam was traversed to, or if
the EMERGENCY STOP switch was operated"

Alarm 2000 should be a simple fix I think. Just checking all the switches on each axis plus maybe a few others.

The original cause of the problems is that the machine got connected to 440V and it's only rated for 220V.

Any suggestions.

Thanks,
