    super noob need lots of help.

    im a metal fabricator looking to stop cutting all my brackets out by hand.
    we use 1/4inch 8X4 plate and 1/8inch plate of the same dimensions, so we are looking at building a plasma table. anybody willing to help me out with any and all good information would be my new hero. thanx for yalls help in advance.

    You could purchase 1/4" X 4" flat bars of HRS or CRS. Then have them sheared to 8" lengths. Less mess and good edges.

    anybody have any advice on getting plans or what type of pieces i should use in order cut this material. what kind of consideration are there to take in to account when picking rail type, motor strength, etc.

    Take a look at the MechMate. It might be a good solution for you. I think I've read that they have been built with plasma cutting heads.

    thanx for the tip but im really looking more at good plans or guides to building my own with parts lists. advice on what type of drive system i should use and what types of motors i should use those are things im looking to find out so if you guys could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciate it.
