Adding a spindle, can my actuator and frame handle it?

    Hi folks,

I'm wanting to replace my router with a spindle. I haven't decided on one yet, but I'm concerned about whether or not my frame and Z-axis actuator can handle the added weight. I'm using a THK KR33 actuator, and my frame is made from 8020. Here's a link to my machine.

I'm thinking of adding either a Chinese spindle, or going with maybe a Teknomotor or Colombo spindle. Big range of prices there, but my concern is more whether or not the cnc can handle the load of the added weight.

Has anyone here mounted a spindle to a KR33 without issue?

    Thanks,

    Don W.
