    Help please Taig Mill

I have problem to configure in Mach 3 spindle . Power cable is plug in G540 controller but no movement. I had to plug power cable directly to power and manually turn on and off.
    I will appreciate any help.

Been a while since I set up MACH3 and have since switched to EMC but unless you have set up a relay you will need to manually turn your spindle motor on and off. See the G540 manual on connecting a relay. Download the correct version from Geckodrive.

In Mach3 configure Output Signals Tab on the Ports and Pins Dialog and uncheck the Disable Spindle Relays in spindle setup.

    hope this helps

What power cable is plugged into the G540? Did you plug your AC cord for the spindle directly into the G540??

Yes I did AC cord for the spindle directly into the G540. Not sure if problem is with configuration or I need get an extra relay an connect. No idea. So turning on/of manually. Cord is now plug to power directly. having just some fun.

Then you blew up the outputs on your G540!

The G540 outputs are designed to drive relays NOT AC loads. It is good luck that your G540 is still working to drive the motors. If you want it to turn on your spindle motor you will need to send it back to Gecko to be repaired and then wire up a relay to the output of the G540. There is information in the G540 manual on how to do this. It would also be good to get a friend with electrical knowledge to help.
