Hello: I need to move a 2Kw co2 laser, fixed optics, moving table type. Can anyone warn me or have suggestions on moving this unit?.
Taking down the optics tube, how fragile, can it go intact on a pallet on a truck?
Should we take the mirrors out of the tube ends 45x45 on one end and a 90 on the other?
Will 3 dimm measurment points be good enough for a rough alignment when we put it back togather? (the optics tube)
Should the optical coupler be removed form the resonator? I heard they are very fragile.
Can a typical resonator cabinet just be moved as is? Or does it need padding suspension cradle or some other devices.
We intend to load all this on a fith wheel trailer (not air ride) and haul it 60 miles.
Any and all comments apreciated, maybe Im making a big deal out of this, just am not sure.
