    Question 1996BRIDGEPORT V2XT DX32 DOS 6.2

In Dire need of help with reviving my old mill.. In awesome shape... been sitting for 3 years. did a scandisk after finally getting it to boot to some level and it has at least 5 bad sectors... it gets to the dx 32 screen then it says : cant load *.fnt file then it says loading operation interface
then it goes to abort ignore fail and will not do anything else
It is showing the file bxx.exe and bdx.exe exist but they are empty.. 0kb
unless i hear otherwise ithink im gonna try to rebuild the computer part then see if i can find software..(dos 6.2 and win 3.11 for workgroup and boss dx32 anything else!!?)
I will need some legacy parts.. like a new (old)? hard drive etc) and I am looking for a copy of the boss dx32 software (or is it hardwired in??) thanks in advance for ANY guidance!!

5 bad sectors - likely from a hard drive crash.
It will prob b ok after a reformat - i would move the info to a current computer.
Attempt to recover the damaged files- not likely
If you can find the dx32 software you should be in good shape.

DOS 6 or 6.2_ is available if you look hard or have a friend

here is a DOS compatible hard drive (2GB max)
    Toshiba unit - $60

    Toshiba 2.16GB Hard Drive (ATA/ 16) - MK-2104MAV

    Toshiba 2.16GB Hard Drive (ATA/ 16) - MK-2104MAV

    Good luck sounds like fun!!!
