Been a while since I posted. I'm a Yank, married a gal in NSW and will be moving there in about 12-18 months. I've revised my thoughts on what to bring, forgetting about setting up a commercial shop. I'll be close to 55 when I get there, and it's time to start enjoying my shop as a hobby.

I am 99.9% certain that I won't be able to bring my Oxy/Acetylene bottles down. Compressed flammable/oxidizing gases in a closed container I'm sure are frowned upon. But would like to bring my Victor regulators and torch. Anyone know if the fittings from regulator to bottle are compatible with Australian bottles? If not, by any slim chance are there adapters available?

If I can't fit my regulators to bottles down under, I'll just sell the whole rig here and buy there.

Related question, are there laws in NSW regarding keeping such a setup in a residential shed?

Thank you,

Jon
