Hi, I would like to know if all blocks for THK RSR 12 will fit on the 12 LM rails?

I got 2 RSR12w blocks on 48 inches rails but need 2 more blocks to construct the machine. All I can find are RSR 12X on a 5 inch rail. Would these fit?

I worked recently with a THK engineer and I was impressed by the range and numerous types of linear rails. I think you should contact THK for advise because there are so many minor differences between similar products.

It would be a mistake to assemble rails that are not compatible and the THK guy had a product manual as big as a telephone directory.

You can actually go to the THK website and do a little searching. Look for the blocks and then it will show you what type rails will work with particular blocks.
I had a similar things with some 25's and the rails fit three different type blocks that I had, so chances are the may fit. I had some others though that were wide rails. If that W stands for wide, you may be outta luck.

I did a bit of looking around there on the site and W does mean wide. I could not find the X in an RSR model number though, but without a W, I doubt they would fit.
