Macro variable #1000, how to edit

I have a Kia H63G HMC with a fanuc 18m control. Some how my variables that decide which pallet to load and unload got mixed up. I need to change #1000 from a 1 to a 0. But i cannot find where to do so? I tried typing #1000=0 in MDI but that didnt work. Anybody know how to do this?

#1000 is system variable ,It can't be assigned directly!DO it by this way!
    #1= 1 or 0 ( for example)
    #1000=#1
