Need help in setting tools on a Tsugami Swiss lathe. Need help with turning tools and end tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What model Tsugami do you have? I have a S16 and made my own tool length setup tool for tools T22-T24(95mm offset block)

I seem to remember you need to use ground blocks to set the toolslides to known values.

They are not programmable only positional.

On our Tsugami all you have to do is dry run the part till the face starts cutting the part. Hit single block at this point, tool will stop once it faces entire part. Use your handle and jog the tool off the part. Reset and spindle will stop. This is Z0 all u have to do it call up your tool and push it up to the front of the bar.
