    Post Communication RS-232 problem

    Greetings!

My friend has old old machine EMCO CNC-330 lathe/turn that has Siemens or my guess Fanuc system 6 control (with Siemens servos).
Machine works good, but it has no regular display, only red diodes display.
My problem is i cant figure it out how to use communication RS-232 port.
Machine has read/punch/tape modes, but it just wont sent, i got parameters and all is set as it should be, as far as i know, but it doesn't react when pressing read/punch at all (tried in EDIT/MEM)

If anyone has some tips/help, i would love to hear it

P.S. Sorry for double post, i dont know where to post it because it has fanuc and siemens/emco stuff

this software version is avalaible for RS232 with 2 conditions

    Baud rate max is 4800

    RTS/CTS is not controlled.

you need to make some modification on your PC/puncher PCB and to make a new cable on connector CSR, this connector must be empty now.
