Equation of a circle in standard form. How to express a circle with given radius in standard form...

I hope that this is what you are looking for.

After you make a circle using R-method, why do you need its center. Pl explain.
I can work out the formula for you, but why devote time on something not very important!
    Pl explain your requirement first.

You need to specify either R or IJK, not both.
If you specify both, the control uses R-method, ignoring IJK.
Positive R produces minor arc (which is relevant in most cases), and negative R produces major arc.
The manual does not recommend R-method when the chord angle is close to 180 degree.

Are you wanting this information for use with Circular Interpolation in a CNC program, or are you trying to write a program to plot the tool path of a CNC program? If you are trying to write the software to plot the tool path, I can give you the routine to calculate the circle center when given two points and a radius. If that is what you require, please reply and I will post the code and an explanation on how to implement it.

    Regards,

    Bill
