    Angry fanuc 18t parameters editting peocedure

    Dear all

    we have JHONFORD CNC lathe with 18T Controller. we wanted to change some softlimt parametrs. please give me the procedurs to edit the parameters.

    it will be a great help.

    You will have to set your PWE. Go to the offset/settings key and put 1 in the PWE to enable it. Attached is a sheet that shows how to do it.

    Parameters 1320 are the softlimits for the + direction and 1321 is the - direction.

    Be careful when adjusting these. I typically set mine about 3mm past the reference position. Most ball screws are metric so the value in this parameter will be in metric to the 3rd decimal. So as an example by setting 5000 it will read it as 5.000mm. If you set it to 5 it will read it as .005mm.

    Why do they need adjustments??
