    PM45 Differences ?

    Jim Colt:

Are there any differences between a 2008 PM45 and a new one ? The salesman at Airgas said the "new model" had many changes but couldn't explain what they were.

    Thanks,

    Willy

No, there are no differences. The performance is identical, the parts are all interchangeable. There always are minor engineering changes (as in any product), but essentially all of the Powermax45 units are identical.

The salesman may have been referring to the new Powermax65 and 85 that are now shipping, as these units are quite a bit different as compared to the 45. The 45 will be around for many more years, it continues to break sales records...even through the economic downturn.
