I did do this before even putting power to my machine when I first set it up. What I didn't do was to check that there was actually wire between the connections by lightly tugging on them. So all the connections felt nice and snug. It was just that some of them were nice and snug against them selves.

I ended up going through every connection I could find. I stripped cable where needed and took electrical contact cleaner to all of the block connections and even a tiny file to some. It works good now.

Next on my list are new belts (as it turns out these are very stretched) and updating the Mach 3 that's on it. My copy is version 044 and the latest/last one is 066.
