Hey George and others

Thanks for all the helpful posts in the past.
We are in the process of adjusting our EZ Trak.
We used your procedure to adjust the backlash compensation.
Also, it seems that we were able to improve the accuracy by changing the Lead Error parameters.
Of course, we adjusted the gibs first & locked the knee.
The circle cut test still gives less than satisfactory results (steps at y-axis orthagonals of about .0015" and variations in runout thru the quadrents, again of about .0015").
We want to check the belts & encoders, but don't have any notes on these procedures.
Also, we may need to tune the amplifiers, but again, no notes.
The machine is an EZ Trak with the CRT display & manual z-axis feed (series I?)
Can you provide any tips or sources for procedures.

Thanks, Chris
