Having trouble starting a program mid way through

    Hi,

I am working on my new to me minimill. I have tried to start a program half way through, and cannot figure out how to get the machine to scan the whole program from the beginning to pickup tools, and offsets, etc. I know it can be done because the machines at my school did this, and I remember finding the setting somewhere. Today however, I am having no luck figuring out this problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    - Andrew

What you are looking for is SETTING 36 'program restart'
    set this to ON :

    Press setting/graph
    type 36
    cursor down once
you should now be highlighting setting 36 'program restart'
    cursor to the right
    then press write/enter.

Starting a program from anywhere should now scan the whole program before the program runs.

    Hope this helps

Thank you very much. I saw the setting earlier but didn't make the connection.

    Thanks again,

    - Andrew
