    Feed hold does it work?

Hi all I need some advice please I use mach 3 to control my home made cnc machine.

I was machining out some letters from aluminum and my phone went so I pressed space to hold feed and when I came back I pressed alt R to restart feed.
but it went mad it went across my work I dont know where it was going as I stopped it but instead of carrying on from where I held feed it went off at an angle across my letter any reason for this?.

Please advise as I would like to use the feed hold feature as it is handy but at the moment it is no good if I have to restart the program again.

    Cheers

It does work but you get different results depending on what version of Mach you are running, as always.

I seem to remember that if you are on a circular move then start will not work, you have to go back to the nearest linear more and set RUN FROM HERE.

The best thing to to try things out like this cutting air so you can be sure of the result before running a part.

Well that is the thing I do remember using it a lot a while ago and never had this problem.

Any one got any ideas could it be some silly setting?.
