Hi all,
I have been building for 18 months and I am now down to the controls. My machine is a custom self designed machine that will convert from router to plasma mode and back. I am using steppers on all axis. I would like to use the G540 but I am concerned about the breakout board of this device because I will need a torch height controller as well. Does anyone have experience with the G540 in a plasma/router setup. Will the G540 have enough I/O to handle the router as well as the torch height controller? And, what about torch height controllers, any suggestions on what works the best?
