    Z touch off before start

Can anyone tell me how to stop my Techno 4896 from sending the tool to Z zero before it starts to run the G code? It is unsettling. What if my Z zero is not at the top of my part? The movement is not in the G code it is something the machine is doing before it even turns the spindle on.

setup / advanced / software switches / drop menu window towards the bottom of the list, set it to do not move to origin before start.

then test it so you know what it's going to do.

Thanks, That was simple. I looked for a menu like that for an hour or so. Don't know why I couldn't see it. Target fixation?
