    extruding text

    Ok, Here is my delema. I have a 13" x 3" x .5" thk piece of stock.
I want to mill some text centered in that stock completely through that stock.

Is there a way to use the existing text feature to do so and extrude the fonts through the .5 thickness? Then be able to create a toolpath to mill out the center of the lettering.
    or,
do I need to create each letter separately?

I'm hoping there is a way to do this easily.

    Thanks

Can you just "pocket" the text? V-Carve also does some great pocketing options.

    Thanks Burrman,

    Pocketing worked fine.
Now I have to find some text that has tabs to the inner islands of the letters. I don't want the centers to fall out of some of the letters.
