please help Z level roughing gone really wrong

On Z level roughing I use "model limit" and how do you set the "material allowances"? I put 0.5 on material allowance and when I do the finishing I found out that the z level roughing has eaten through the inside of my supposed to be finishing area. Is there anything to do with "material allowance"?

please see the picture, something really wrong with the z level roughing, you can see in the picture I did the final finishing with ballnose but the z level roughing cuts more than it is supposed to.

10mm FLat for roughing and 3mm ballnose for finishing the tooling are correct. but why the roughing eats more then it is supposed to?

Or maybe the finishing takes out less than it is supposed to? In the 3D view, check the toolpath for the finishing run. Make sure it is at the height it is supposed to be at.

The material allowance is set in the Z slice on the Z Level Roughing toolpath. Enter a value say 1mm and it will leave that much allowance between the material and the tool. Click apply and it will automatically calculate the number of slices in the toolpath. HTH
