Is this encoder bad US Digital Discoloration spots Timing out

    Images not workingHello
I had purchesed a microkinetics CNC lathe and the threading the program times out waiting for the Encoder. So Jeff had helped me and the wireing is correct and stuff and i had entered the correct gcode for the program and it runs fine in the simulator but when in machine mode it doesn't.

So i had took off the encoder and the red light / Laser turns on when the program is ran but doesn't turn off even if you turn off even if you stop the program.

I had also noticed 2 diffrent size spots on the disc they are diffrent in size and are light brown.

    Is this the problem.

Also do any of you have any ideads on how to convert the MN400 Drive rack I'd like mach 3

Please see Images below if you know where to get this encoder please leave a post thanks Austin

I would doubt that the disk is bad, they test all the disks before they leave the factory. You can even write on the disk with a sharpie, and it will still read properly.

    Hello
Thanks for the reply Jeff had mentioned thet rearly encoder go bad but the spots look odd. I had went to the website and they sell the disc there. So i guess the issue is the MN 400 Board Nothing but issues on this lathe thanks again Austin
