    Question Retrofitting my maho mh400c

    Hello everybody,

I,ve had it with the philips 432 control on my maho, so i'm going to retrofit it with mach 3 or emc2.

    I found the following thing:http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74532
It takes the step/dir signal and makes it into an +10v/-10v signal.

This thing would be great sice i can keep my original indramat motors and the indramat 3trm2 servo drive.

But how does this work with the original encoders on the back of the servo?
and i would still like to use the original linear encoders.

any help or info on this subject would be great.

Check in the EMC forum. EMC has several analog (+/ - 10V) solutions along with PWM, and step and direction. Help is always on the IRC channels. Ed
