    Acramatic 2100 problem

Have problem on a Cincinnati Arrow with a A2100 control. The z-axis feeds at a really slow slow slow rate following a G84.1 tapping cycle. The only way around it is to move the Z-axis a small amount then move X&Y axis a smalll amount then the Z-axis will move freely at full rapid. See example:

    G84.1 YADADADA
    G0 Z10.
    G0 X10. Y5.0

The G0 Z10. line should move the tool at full rapid ( it does on my other machines with the A2100 control).

    I've tried a G80 and even a G01 with a high feedrate - no hlep!

Is there a setting or is this a software issue?

    Acramatic 2100 help

You have probably tried this but here goes anyway.
The G01 should cancel the G84 tapping cycle, however
you may want to try a G80 canned cycle cancel to see if this
    makes a difference.
