    operating system

    hi

    We are getting 2 new machines, a vm10 and a tmx8

    what operating system does hurco use now...is it still windows xp?

    Not that I know, but probably. Especially if they, Hurco, have used XP already.

    We within the last year have got in a high end Mori Seiki mill and a high end diamond turning machine from Moore. They both still use XP. Machine tool manufactures have to be one of the slowest to transition to newer operating systems.

    Yes, Winmax 09.xx for Mill and Winmax 08.xx for Lathe still use XP. I think you will get for Lathe 08.xx version, but it is possibility you get 09.xx ( as far as I know, 09.
    is still beta version and only for testing ).
