mpg pendants which one to choose from

hello to everyone and thanks for all the help.
its been 4 months since I started my cnc retrofit and started learning how to
    use mach 3 .
I have been having so much fun that I didnt realize how expensive this hobby really is. but the knowledge and time is priceless. well since I am getting more into mach 3 know I am looking into adding a pendant to my mill
I havent learn or know anything on (macros) so I dont know how to input information to make this work. all i really want is some kind of pendant like a handwheal and maybe just a few buttons. that can be hooked up to my pc computer and hopefully mach3 can knowtice it and I can just play with it.
if anyone knows or has one thatis pertty simple can you please let me know what type it is and where can I get it.
    thanks again to everyone

This one has a good set of instructions you can download and look at, but all will require some setup in Mach.

The easiest setup is probably a Shuttle Pro. Not a true MPG, but it has a Mach3 plugin which makes setup pretty easy. You can get them on Ebay for around $75 I think.

I did some research on the shuttle pro and it looks like that is the most used for mach user, is this a usb conection on the end also i notise ther is a shuttle express has any try that out and is it just as easy to hook up as the shuttle pro

here again as i am doing a seach I found out that you can use a x box game controller, so I desided to try it out I have this game controller simullar like the x box pluge it in and and mach i went to plug ins and checked the red to green and it started to work one side has a joystick that works for x and y and it even moves both at the same time. I am trying to use the other joystick to move the z axis can some tell me or show how I can do that or how to set this gamepad to work.
