    Nesting...

I love MasterCam's nesting feature. Although, when it creates a couple sheets, I'm having to save each sheet to it's own file so it can be lined up with the origin. Is there a way to "change" the origin for each sheet while saving it to one file? It's not a huge deal, but would be much more convenient if I could create artificial origins and do all the toolpaths on one page. This is MC 9.1.

I believe that there is something in MC that will act as a WPC (G54-G59) but being new I can't be totally sure. The Books that come with MC aren't that great for learning and the guy that I am working with is new to CAD/CAM all together. I'll check tomorrow and get back to you.

    Hi,

I've never used nesting but the way to "change the origin" is to use the Work Coordinate System (WCS).
