Mach 3 in the new windows

My "inside" computer died so I bought a new one with the new Windows on it.
I like to test my code in Mach on my inside computer but I have noticed that Mach does not seem to run quite right. The tool path display is often blank, as well as some of the Mach fields. Sometimes I can click "Change G code" and it will bring up the file normally sometimes not. Has anyone else seen any issues with Mach on a new machine?
Also my machine computer is the stock machine bought directly from tormach with nothing else running on it. When I turned on the new Flash GUI I noticed some of the hot keys no longer worked like F5 to turn on the spindel and the MDI would not always open. The computer acted like it was bogging down so I switched back to the original. I followed the Tormach install video but mayby I just missed something. It looks like a better interface and I would like to use it.
    Don't Panic!

On the Windows 7 machine did you install Mach in "Compatibility Mode" ?

If not try to reinstall it in Compatibility mode for XP SP2.

Right click the executible select properties then the compatibility tab.
After making the changes re-run the executible.

    Hope it works.

Scottm and ger21. I tried the compatability mode change and can't tell that anything has changed (same problems).

AFIK it should be able to run on the 32bit version of Win7. It will NOT run on the 64bit version. If the computer was bought from Tormach one would think they had it running so...

Did you install the memory override registry fix and run as administrator? Follow the instructions in the link.

ger21, I reread the the link you gave me and found the part about saving it to memoryoverride.reg however I don't know where this is. I belive that this is a 64 bit mechine and the windows 7 is just what came on it. It sounds like only the pro version of 7 will let you fake an XP machine. This is only my inside computer so I don't care if it will actually run the mill it's just for testing code. Mach mostly runs now it just acts strange.

If it's a 64 bit machine, then try installing Mach3 without the driver. Uninstall it , then reinstall, and uncheck the box when it asks to install the driver.

    Hi David

To see what you are running 32/64 bit. Right click "My Computer" click properties. Under the heading "System" it will tell if your OS is 32 or 64 bit.

Check in Device Manager and make sure the driver is not still installed.

I don't see it in the device manager. I think it is off of the computer.
