I just ordered The Hypetherm powermax85 with the machine torch, model# 087115. Does anybody know if that model comes with the CPC connector already installed.? OR do i need to order that seperately?

I talked to Tom Caudle today and he seemed to think that it did but he wasn't 100%. I already have the Bladerunner 620-4 controller and I just ordered the mic01 connector cable from Tom. Just want to make sure I got everything to finally get my Plasma table running.
My build log is over in the build log section, if you want to read about my tribulations trying to get a noisy chinese machine to work with my table and the Candcnc controller.

Why yes it does come with that CPC card and interface. The interface should be set to 50-1 ratio. The PWM box may be set to 7-1 ratio. You should take the 4 screws off the bottom of the PWM box and verify before you hook it up. We just installed one of those this afternoon on a 5x10

CandCNC recommends you set the PWM box to 20:1 ratio and remove the cover on your new PM85 and set it to 20:1. It comes set at 50:1. That's what I did and it works perfect.

Thats good to know. I should have the PM85 by next weekend. It should be a breeze to hook up compared to what I've been dealing with.

Any body have the machine torch for the PM 85, I think it's model # m85 ? What is the diameter of the torch body? I'd like to make the torch holder for it while I'm waiting for it to show up.

I have a pm 85 with machine torch diameter is 1 3/8 inch my holder has a notch for the gear rac to clear the rak is 1/4 inch wide and runs 8 of the 12 inchs down the back side of the torch.

You can remove the torch mounting sleeve to shorten the torch as well...here is a pic of mine.

Yes, I found that out when I went to order my machine. I originally wanted to order the machine with the short torch and they explained to me that the long torch can be shortened. It's nice to have options. Right now all my cables will be supported overhead for its simplicity but I might eventually go with a track system for wire management. Right now I just want it to run. :-)
