Method to Jog the Z axis while a program is running for PCB Milling

    Hello,
I am currently using LinuxCNC to route PCB's using a 3rd party program to generate GCode. I need to figure out how to Jog the Z axis on the fly to set the milling isolation depth. Would any of you have hints on how to do this? Getting the first cut is very critical and I can not figure out how to apply a dynamic offset to the Z axis travel.

    Thanks,

    Sam

Does the third-party CAM not provide Z axis movement in the GCode? Do you need to move it on the fly?

The code itself does move the Z axis of course but I want to be able to adjust it while running to set the depth.
