    Powersupply problem

This is the powersupply that I bought

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=320323240398

When the powersupply came I read on the side that the input for the powersupply is 240v & 1.6a.

I've wired a plug onto the supply, but I do not have a clue what fuse to use in the plug.

I have contacted the supplier and the person I bought this off, I have been given conflicting information off both of them.

I have been told that when the supply is turned on it has a 40a surge.

Could someone point me in the right direction over this please?

    Thanks.

Yes, put 13A fuse to the plug. I guess a 3A fuse was used in the power supply.
