    Need Help Finding Parts

I have a tiawan built machine (late 80's?) called a Well-setting 3hp mill made by Mon-Well machinery co. I am rebuilding the head and there are 2 splined plastic or nylon bushings that drive the machine. I cannot locate anyone who can supply parts. I turned a couple nylon bushing and broached a spline in them but I fear nylon is to gummy and won't hold up. I think the old ones are some sort of plastic maybe?

    Any help is grately appreciated!!!!!!!

How about trying Delrin? that stuff is pretty hard plastic, much much harder than nylon.

    Use Nylatron GF

Glass fiber (about 30%) reinforced 6-6 Nylon with Moly Disulfide.

Tough, strong, self lubing (via the moly), easily sourced. Darn near bullet proof when used as injection molded gears in the R/C industry.

Thanks guys, I have the nylon bushings in place and they have worked ok so far. If They don't last long I will try your suggestion.
