Bongo 1 was limited in it's usefulness. Bongo 2 is a whole new animal!! We use it very simplistically to check for clearances between moving parts, but if you get into the IK part of it, you can do some amazing things. Unfortunately I don't use it enough to consider myself an expert.

It is much more complicated than Bongo 1, but once you work with it for a bit it gets pretty easy.
