    Power Supply help NEEDED QUICK

I have less then 24 hours to finish a job, and one of my power supplies goes on the fritz. It's a 48v 16amp regulated switching power supply. When I turned it on today, it made a fast clicking sound, and the lights went dim a little in time to the sound. It is still producing 48v, but I'm afraid to use it. I suspect a chip may have worked itself into the drive. Any idea what is wrong? Can I fix it?

The clicking was it going into shutdown and then trying to restart....open it up and shake out whatever is loose inside of it.

I already blew it out with compressed air, no luck.

Compressed air will generally force chips to become lodged......use a bright light and magnifying glass to check under any integrated circuits....
