    single point thread?

    anybody ever single point a 4-40 thread on sub spindle? onle like.120 length of thread on 304 ss? (.125 dia barstock?)

    Probably need to add an R value to comp for deflection. Are the threads at the end of the part? If so, thread rolling would provide a better and faster process.
