    Importing files to turbocnc

I have a sample program written in notepad. Every thing is set to go . My problem now is importing files. I saved the file in notepad copied it to a floppy disk. I went to my machine and copied this to the Turbocnc folder on the c drive. I opened the file went to properties for the location of the file. I booted up in ms-dos to run Turbocnc when the screen came up I went to file and then run from file. Could not get it to open. I have read the docs but can't find a step by step instruction. I know it has to be a txt extension on the file name. Is file extension default or is it part of the ini file.
    Can someone help me?

Can you not see the file? You can change the extension under Configuration>General Config. It's .cnc by default. You can also set the path where the files are.
In notepad, you can save a file with a different extension by putting "" around it. In the filename box, just enter it like this "filename.cnc" If you don't put it in quotes, Notepad will add .txt to it.
