    Mazatrol CMT binary file

    Hello
Could somebody help me with the format of a Mazatrol T32 CMT binary file format explanation or with information on how to interpret what the file contains? Or better how to edit such a file
    TIA

That is an ugly file format.

The only off-line programming system I know of is from Griffo Brothers at
    http://www.griffobros.com

They also have a DNC system for it. We don't use thier DNC system because we allready have one form Predator so we use it, but Predator's Editor does not suport the "conversational" programming that is on the Mazak but Griffo's does.

You can go to Solutionware and get MazaCam. It will do the same thing as Griffo Bros. but will work on the new Matrix controls where Griffo will not.

It's not really binary although it appears to be so but you can't edit that. Short of using what others mentioned here for a CAM system, you could also output the same programs through TAPE I/O instead. It will be in 3-digit G code format and now you can edit it all you want. The codes are explained in the back of the programming book.... provided you have TAPE output... some 32 boards didn't.....
It's just a part..... cutter still goes round and round....
