    Cycle time help.

    Hi guys.
When adding in a sync string into the program (already made), how do you associate a time with that sync string to add it into the Total Cycle Time. The sync string in question is one that moves the sub spindle into position for work on the main turret on a 2 turret, 2 spindle lathe. Even if I could just input my own time into it that would be great. I wouldnt expect it to calculate with any variables, just a set time for each time I do this, no matter where it moves.

Also I notice my pullouts are definately off timing, showing 2 seconds when I know that they are around 5. Is there any way of changing this time? I thought i remember seeing a time input for every time the collets open and close and I know i could fix this problem with changing those times if I could find them.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jordan,
Go to the SolidTurn Machine Setup icon, click on the Assembly tab. You should have a "main spindle" and a "Sub spindle" listed. You should be able to use the chucking times to get you closer to your actual time. Also make sure you have the Home Position listed correctly. Hope this helps.
