Create the objects and toolpath on the cad side.
Start with no commands on the CAM side; pick the DM2200 (others probably work too)
Use macro->program start to get a starting set of commands
Use tool->cutting->auto to dump the toolpath in Dyna language
Use macro->program end to get an END command (or just type it in)
If you have G codes, you did something wrong.
Send to the DM2400:
Set up the DM2400 for download
Line No. mode
pick send/receive
say yes/no until you get download, then the "Ready" prompt.

I used a USB -> serial converter (laptop is USB only) to a serial cable 9 pin
to 25 pin.
I could download and run the program.
Now I need to get drip code running. It involve adding a SKIP TO 900 with blank at 900, but I get the following problems:
- the download won't complete unless the're an END command
- the program self-check won't complete unless there's an END command
- When running, the controller doesn't stop and accept more data from the
laptop, it just loops around and trys to run again.
Anyone have an example of Dyna code for the 2400 (or similar) that actually works?
