Plunging stopping short by 1 micron increments

    Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem Ive had for some time now.
I have an ongoing job which is to manufacture peg board sheets. The sheets are 2100mm long x 1100mm wide. I can usually get through 1/3 of a sheet before I notice that the router bit is not penetrating through to the sacrificial board. To counter this problem I will usually re program to plunge deeper or adjust the tool offest at the machine.
Recently I noticed when doing another batch of pegboard, the monitor display was showing that the Z axis was coming up short by 1 micron every plunge. Over a sheet this adds up to approximately 2mm shy of what I programmed.
I have attached some images of the screen doing a dry run of another job where the same problem occurred
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks guys.
