Home/overtravel problem on Feeler Fanuc Oi-Mc

    Hi all

I have problem with homing y axis on Feeler milling center.
    Its Fanuc Oi-Mc.

When we try home y axis, it go in overtravel.
Reset by pressing can+P during startup doesent help ;(

We never had this problem before.

Can the encoder be faulty in this way ?

When i try manually press the home/endstroke swich for x,
    The control write "emergency stop"

But when i press same switch for y axis, nothing happen on the control.
Does this mean this switch is faulty ?

Any help is very velcome Thanks

Which over travel alarm number is it? 500 to 505 are software overtravels. CAN+P on start up should disable the soft overtravels.
When you get the overtravel alarm, check DGN 301, this is the axis position with out the decimal. Compare the position to the over travel limits set in parameters 1320 (+ direction) and 1321 (- direction). Parameters 1322 & 1323 for 2nd overtravel; 1323 & 1325 for 3rd overtravel. The 2nd & 3rd overtravels are turned on and off by G codes.
Alarm 506 & 507 are hardware overtravels, meaning something has tripped the switch.
    Hope this helps. Rambo

    Thanks for answering.

It was the deacceleration/endstroke switch, it was broken inside, and full of water
