    FireFox 5 is out

    The title says it all.
I hope it turns out better than the FF4, there seemed a few backward steps there.

The stupid layout that was in the last version is still there. Does anyone know a way to change it to how it was before? (I think version 3.6 was the last one with the normal layout?)

If you'er talking about the tabs on top, just right click on the tab line and select "Tabs on bottom".

To me, the placement of the refresh button is downright painful.

    Cool Fire Fox 4

They dropped the ball big time on this browser. As a loyal Firefox user first thing I did was install FF4 Brand new computer. It kicks me out of email it kicks me out of Yahoo, it's worthless. So as much as I hate IE I had to start using it. I will try FireFox 5 if they cleaned it up. My company uses email a lot. FireFox blames Yahoo, Yahoo blames Firefox, :argue: :violin: As a retired computer tech I don't need the grief. It works, or it's gone.

I love change, I love improvement, but don't put something out that don't work. Bill Gates has done that for years. Fire Fox was my rock. I could count on it. I have dual boot on one computer. Fire Fox 4 don't kick me out running Linux. I know it's code, they just have to fix it.

    Post Fire Fox 5

As a always hopeful computer tech I upgraded to FF 5. No change. Complete uninstall. Cold boot. Reinstall. no change. Kicks me off Yahoo, Google, Bing. Desprate attempt re ran Malware Bytes, Virus scan, nothing. I E 9 runs fine no problem at all. So in an almost tearful goodbye I removed it from my computer. Strange thing is I don't do that on any other computer I own. This one is two months old. Maybe when 6 comes out.

If you want to pursue it, it may be worth letting their support know of the problem?

    Cool Thanks for the idea.

I have been playing "pass the buck" with them for days. Mozilla thinks it maybe firm ware glitch in my sat. modem. There best guess is that it is conflicting with their code and somehow is sending a log out command.
Then there is always the old stand by, This maybe an isolated issue with your version of Windows 7. :violin: English version, Our code Rats are too busy eating pizza and flying paper airplanes to worry about it. I will isolate and correct the issue, just takes time.
