Hey guys, easy question regarding wear offsets on a Fanuc 0T-B - What am I doing wrong?

I am touching off an OD threading tool, and attempting to dial in the thread pitch diameter with wear offsets and thread wires. Unfortunately, it seems like my wear offsets just aren't doing anything at all.

  1. Rough in thread tenon and threads to +0.010"
  2. Add wear offset of X0.01 (also tried X-0.01) to T05 (the T column in both offsets and wear offsets for #5 also have a 5 in it on both pages)
  3. Run same program again
  4. Threads measure the same

Just to make a little progress, I noted the starting X offset and decreased it to find the required differential, but this is very non-optimal, I would much prefer to use the wear functionality of the machine.

Questions:
  • Am I doing something completely wrong above?
  • Should I be able to see the wear offset change the absolute X value in POS? No change, even after an MDI T0505

Notes:
I do see the wear offset change affecting the incremental POS, U shows as 0.01 on incremental.

Thanks in advance for the help!
